AES introduces new Compact Electric
Vaporizer, Lectrapak EV-25KGPeachtree City, GA, Apr. 15, 1999 -- Alternate
Energy Systems, Inc., the leading manufacturer of Propane- and Propane-Air Systems
announced today that it is now offering a new Compact Electric LPG Vaporizer, Model
Lectrapak EV-25KG.
The new product employs a technology where a solid
Aluminum core with embedded electric heater element and stainless steel vaporization coil
is used instead of a liquid heat transfer medium. In combination with direct-acting
temperature control elements, the result is a totally "dry" electric vaporizer
with no failure-prone printed circuit boards or electronic controllers, that does not
require any liquid-level checks, and is therefore virtually maintenance-free.
The new vaporizer is only 4 inches in diameter, 11
inches high, and weighs only 50 pounds. The vaporization capacity is listed as 25 kg per
hour (propane), at 4 KW power consumption.
Vaporizers are used where the naturally occurring
vaporization in storage tanks is not sufficient to deliver the amount of Liquefied
Petroleum Gases (LPG) needed by a particular application. Compact Electric Vaporizers are
commonly used in applications where space constraints and the need for a maintenance-free
unit are important.
AES Compact Electric Vaporizers offer many advantages
over products from other manufacturers, including the monolithic Heater/Vaporization
Tube/Aluminum Heat Transfer Core combination, direct-acting temperature control elements,
the absence of failure-prone printed circuit boards, etc. These features, together with
the proven AES quality, make the Lectrapak-series first choice for both owners and service
personnel.
